Contains the lives of three women strugglers: Eldress Evdokia, who as a nun and a great woman of prayer hid her virtues under the cover of foolishness; Elena the Sufferer, a married woman whose earthly life was filled with much grief but who was able to console others because of the grace that God gave her, and Nun Dorothea of Sukhotin Monastery who also endured much difficulty in her life, but was always grateful to God and was thus blessed by Him.
