Artemis Schwebel, painter, muralist, author, blogger, and filmmaker was born in New York in 1957. He was reared in Sparta, Greece, from the age of 5 and later studied filmmaking, theater, and political science in Athens. In 1981 Schwebel returned to New York, where he now lives and works. His works has been exhibited extensively in New York and internationally. He speaks English, Greek and Hebrew and is the father of two children.
